Was your website impacted? πŸ€”

Hi Reader,

Have you heard of the latest news from Google? πŸ€”

Google has just finished the November 2023 core update, which is officially the last update of this year.

Since the rollout is finally over, you can check whether your website was impacted. Here's how. πŸ‘‡

  • Check impressions in Google Search Console. Can you see the downward trend?
  • Check clicks.
  • Compare the overall organic traffic to previous months. Did it increase/decrease?
  • Check rankings. Do you see any gains or drops?

Here's what happened to my website

Last month, I updated two articles - Beehiiv review and Medium review.

I've also published a new article - AI tools for SEO.

Even though I observed a drop in impressions for a while, my website started slowly recovering in November 2023.

If your website was impacted and you want to improve your website performance next year, check my previous email, where I shared how to prepare your website for 2024.

That's it for today!

Enjoy your weekend. ❀️
