August and September were surprisingly full of Google algorithm updates.

Having unhelpful content does not mean your website will perform poorly.
According to Google, your website might still perform well if you also have high-quality pages on your website. Moreover, removing unhelpful content could help the rankings of your other content.
Here is what Google suggests doing if your website is affected:
What happened to my website
I noticed a slight decrease in impressions and clicks after the August 2023 update, but there is no negative impact from the September helpful content update yet.
As an SEO expert, I recommend creating content aligned with Google's requirements and focusing on E-E-A-T.
Google is not against AI! However, the recent updates are intended to downgrade unhelpful, AI-generated content created with the purpose of rankings manipulation.
